"Superb fish and chips, one of the best dinner experiences you can get anywhere. The battered flake is light and cooked to perfection. The chips are tasty with actual potato in them, same for the potato cakes. The staff work very hard and the service is excellent. Clearly the No 1 choice for fish and chips when in sale. Shame I'm not local..."

"I was staying with a friend in Stratford, I’m from Melbourne. He kept raving about the local fish and chip shop in Maffra. I would have to say he was right. The best fish and chips I’ve had in a very long time. Fresh fish, crispy batter, chips, potato cakes and dim sims all spot on. Will definitely be back."

"Last time I was in Sale, I had Hungry Jacks, but yesterday I wanted something fresher and to support a small business. I Googled 'Takeaway cafes in Sale' and this business had so many positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. I had a chicken schnitzel burger with potato cakes. The cost was only slightly more than HJ's and the burger was way bigger and I got to choose a nicer drink! The potato cakes are homemade and they were hot and crispy, way better than HJ's fries. The burger was big and freshly cooked. I liked that the pineapple (an extra you can request) was grilled, so it didn't make the rest of the burger cold. The staff were very friendly. I will return to this Cafe, next time I'm in Sale."

"Very good fish and chippery. The people were very lovely and the food was pretty good. Portions were okay. I had the fish pack with extra flake and could still eat a bit more. But I was satisfied. A little more decorative and this place is your classic Fish and Chip hot spot"
